Why is this a loan scam?
- The email address used is a free Gmail address.
- The message was posted on various forums. Legitimate lenders would not advertise in such a way. As well as spamming this loan scam, the scam user also spammed details of a gold scam, a fake spellcaster and black money scams.
- The email gives no indication of who is offering the loan, where they are based or who they are regulated by.
- The ridiculous upper amount of loan being offered.
- The poster of this forum spam is in South Africa, which is a known Advance Fee Fraud hotspot.
