Loan Scam – email@example.com
The below loan scam email was sent to an email address that exists only to catch scam emails. It has never been used to register on any site, only to communicate with scammers.
From: Philip Moore <firstname.lastname@example.org> Reply-To: Philip Moore <email@example.com> Subject: Loan Transfer Update Get Back
How are you doing today….It have been some couple of Days now i have not receive any E-mail from you in regard to the Loan you intend to get from our company that we have already process..You know how bad you need this loan…. If i may ask do you still need this loan….I will want you to get back to me as soon as possible so that we can process further….You are only expected to make payment of C.O.T only to proceed further.So if you need this loan,…get back to me as soon as possible so that we can proceed with the transfer on time as i am ready to help you now
Why is this a loan scam?
- It was sent from a totally different email address to the one that you are asked to reply to.
- The email address used is a free Gmail address.
