The below loan scam email was sent to an email address that exists only to catch scam emails. It has never been used to register on any site, only to communicate with scammers.

Subject: Do you need Corporate/Private finance for business expansion/start-up?

Email body

We are looking for viable projects in need of capital injection through loans or direct investment funding.

Why is this a loan scam?

  • It was sent from a totally different email address to the one that you are asked to reply to.
  • The email address used is a free Gmail address.
  • The email was mass-mailed to many recipients using BCC.
  • The email gives no indication of who is offering the loan, where they are based or who they are regulated by.

The dumb scammer who claims to be Genesis Capital is so stupid that he thought that he could get this post removed by complaining to our web hosts about it.

Anyone with half a brain would understand that this is nothing more than a poorly executed advance fee fraud scam, by someone who probably doesn’t have the intelligence to remember to breath without someone reminding him to do it.
