Why is this a loan scam?

  1. The email addresses used is a free Hotmail address.
  2. The email was mass-mailed to many recipients using BCC.
  3. The email gives no indication of where the company offering the loans are based or who they are regulated by.
  4. The ridiculous interest rate being offered.
  5. The telephone number quoted is a Nigerian mobile phone. Nigeria is a known Advance Fee Fraud hotspot and no legitimate company would be using a mobile phone as its main phone number.
