Loan Scam – email@example.com
The below loan scam email was sent to an email address that exists only to catch scam emails. It has never been used to register on any site, only to communicate with scammers.
From: brad donald <firstname.lastname@example.org> Date: Wed, 24 Jun 2020 11:50:23 +0100 Subject: Loan Good day To: undisclosed-recipients:; Bcc: [REDACTED]
I am a private lender. I give out Guarantee Business Loans, Personal
Loans, Home Buying Loans, Auto Loans E.T.C. I give a long term loan
from $2,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 from a maximum of one to fifty years
At an interest rate of 3%, the interested applicant should email 🙁
email@example.com) only with
Loan amount needed
Why is this a loan scam?
- The email address used is a free Gmail address.
- The email was mass-mailed to many recipients using BCC.
- The email gives no indication of who is offering the loan, where they are based or who they are regulated by.
- The ridiculous upper amount of loan and loan term being offered.
